Brendan Byrne SJ is a Jesuit priest and teaches New Testament at Jesuit Theological College, within the ecumenical United Faculty of Theology, Melbourne. In 1990 he became the first Australian member of the Pontifical Biblical Commission (Rome).
Dianne Bergant CSA is Professor of Biblical Studies and Director of the Doctor of Ministry Program at Catholic Theological Union, Chicago, and serves on the editorial board of The Bible Today.
